So just the other day, I was reading a news about Google acquiring a company called Picnik. To be honest, I have never heard of that company before. Turns out to be it is a web based photo editing application. It sounds cool right? Well damn right it is! (My apology for over excitement!)
I went to Picnik site and checked out some of the features, and I tell you, I think I might have found a solution to ditch Photoshop for simple image resizing in my projects (Sadly enough, I have to hang on to the giant for a more complicated photo editing task).
Let me demonstrate how I can easily resize a photo image via Picnik website. This method can prove very resourceful when you post images on social media such as Facebook or Twitter.
Go to Picnik website.
Resizing an image in 3 easy steps:
-
Click “Upload a Photo”. And yes, you don’t have to register to use!

-
Click on “Resize” and enter your desired dimension then click ok

-
Save!
And that is it! You have resized your image in a very simple way online.
